Spanning an expansive 4,000 sq ft, this project transforms a vast commercial unit into an ethereal sanctuary for dancers, balancing rigorous technical requirements with the elegance of a high-end studio.
The design and fit-out process focused on creating a backdrop that honors the classical roots of dance while serving modern needs. The interior architecture features refined neoclassical details, utilising ornate mouldings and column features to frame the professional sprung floors. A sophisticated lighting strategy employs soft, diffused illumination to flatter movement and enhance the sense of height and space. Beyond the studio floor, the experience is elevated by minimalist changing rooms and a carefully crafted selection of bespoke loose furniture, offering a comfortable, lounge-like atmosphere for relaxation and socialising.
