Saikou sits right in the heart of Camden, and is led by the chef formerly of Hakkasan in Mayfair. The space aims to combine bold design with elevated dining.  

This project was delivered under one of the shortest timeframes we have encountered. Working to a fixed launch date, design, planning and construction were all completed within 3 months, an unprecedented turnaround for a hospitality fit-out. Operating within such a short time-frame required decisive design development and rigorous coordination. Projects of this nature demand significant experience and a strong on-site presence to ensure everything runs smoothly. 

Our experience allowed us to mobilise contractors quickly, and ensure construction could start immediately after planning had been approved, and our existing contacts allowed us to efficiently source materials, so the project remained on track with no loss of time. 

The interior brings together urban sophistication with warm, ambient textures creating an inviting, high-end dining space. Careful detail, from layout to lighting, means that guest experience is central to the design, while ensuring that the space remains efficient and operationally focused. In order to create a space which met the clients visual expectations as well as meeting time constraints, designs were strategically simplified. Repeated components were used and carefully composed to maintain richness and avoid repetition, to ensure the space felt considered rather than formulaic.

The result is a refined, high quality fitout, that excels from an operational standpoint, as well as visually. The restaurant is renowned in Camden, and frequently receives 5 star reviews for both its food and its atmosphere. 

This project stands as a benchmark for us when it comes to operations and coordination. It proves our ability to bring speed and efficiency while creating a considered, high-end visual result.
